High-speed communication board design engineers used to have a trouble, A new design PCB board, expensive, difficult to design and time consuming, there may be distributed dozens of hundreds of connectors and a large number of expensive active and passive components. But it may come out of failure and whole board scrapped just because a single connector not welding well during the test process. What a pity! Even if not scrapped, sometimes the inconsistent welding or welding performance decline, will affect the final work results.

To solve this problem, Gwave introduced a reusable, solder-free 2.92mm end launch connector 2.92-KHD23.

This connector can be applied to microwave circuit boards of different thicknesses, such as microstrip circuit boards, or coplanar waveguide circuit boards. The solder-free design enables the performance of the connector to be independent of operator differences. After installation with the hexagon tool, the consistency of performance obtained by each engineer can be guaranteed and defined. This greatly improved the work efficiency of the test and verification engineer, and also significantly reduced the scrap rate of the connectors and the microwave plates, saving costs.

The gold-plated design enables the connector to have excellent physical and electrical performance. VSWR performance tested by Gwave laboratory is as follows:
